Hot take maybe…aside from the Tammy Thompson line I don’t think I’m a fan of Wills coming out scene (in a genuine criticism way not the homophobic kinda way)

I am a gay man from Indiana so if it’s gonna relate to anyone it would probably be me😭 the robin monologue was *chefs kiss* and I felt like it captured what it meant to grow up queer perfectly. Im not gonna say there’s a wrong and a right way to come out but it’s a usually a way slower process. You build a support system overtime. Gathering everyone into a room for that when an apocalypse is happening would’ve put me into cardiac arrest.

i think he was kind of a stiff scene because will wasnt ready. he couldnt do it on his own terms he had to tell them before they fought. i think he was absolutely terrified and overwhelmed at everyone being there and saying the most vulnerable things he could

Also a scenario where the cast responds poorly would be weird but I don’t know how I feel about being sold the idea that you could come out to a room of people in 80s Indiana and it would make for a heartfelt moment.
