I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again: Just because Vecna has a sad backstory doesn’t mean he needs to be redeemed Richard Ramirez, the Nightstalker, objectively had one of the most fucked up childhoods. He was still a piece of shit and does not deserve redemption

Like I understand the Mindflayer is the one controlling him, but it’s so much more interesting to have your villain be an actual character than some faceless being with no motivations
