People need to stop being such babies about these SNL skits OMG. As a gay guy myself, the ski was funny. And it wasn’t even directed at Noah! Learn how to take a joke people 😂

yeah but the one that caleb made about max: "well max and i standet off hot and heavy, right? but then a couple years in she just lies there like she's back in that coma" or the one finn made about el: "the fist time i learnt what a women looks down there"... you can't tell me that that's funny?? that's just disgusting

But why? Caleb’s joke was about how sometimes the spark dies after a time in a relationship. If anything, it was poking fun at HIM for not being able to satisfy her And as for Finn’s, women have been making jokes about how ugly and weird guys dicks are for years now. And those are funny jokes too

well the first one that caleb made can be heavily misunderstood as an SA joke like maybe they didn't mean it that way but still weird and the one that finn made that's just straight up body shaming and not funny also not funny in general... and like i've seen a few post and videos about those jokes being misogynistic so clearly i'm not the only one seeing that...

Look, I hope I’m not sounding all “Men Are VicTimS toO” because that’s not what I’m trying to sound like, but there’s definitely a double standard. Female comedians (and gay male comedians too) body shame men all the time then. But the only time it’s an issue is now?

no i think body shaming in general is wrong, doesn't matter if it's about a women or a man, i just mentioned the thing that finn said cuz it's in those recent SNL skits... but like in exactly those skits i don't see a man being body shamed like i know that finn for example also had to deal with body shaming comments and i think that's absolutely disgusting as well but like him making those jokes also isn't funny...

and ofc men also have to deal with disgusting comments but it's still mostly women who are being treaded that way and who men make misogynistic jokes about and also my question is why aren't millie, sadie or noah in those skits like why are they making weird jokes about their characters but they're not even in the skit...

Noah wasn’t in the skit because he’s in Italy. Millie and Sadie, I don’t know but why does it matter? This just happened to be a guys thing. If Millie and Sadie worked together to host some show and didn’t invite the guys, no one would bat an eye

And also, the joke about the coming out scene wasn’t about Noah himself, it was about the Duffer brothers writing. And the Duffer brothers were literally in attendance for SNL. Why are you getting offended on behalf of other people?

yeah ik but you're missing the point i'm not talking about the coming out scene in my comment

You brought it up again when you brought up that Noah wasn’t there. But honestly, whatever. This is just a difference of opinion

i meant that the guys where making misogynistic jokes about millie's and sadie's characters and not about them not being invited...

Nah bro it’s “heavily misunderstood” bc yall don’t have media literacy and maybe are too young to understand the references being made. It was SO obviously not talking about SA. Like let’s think critically for a second why on gods green earth would they write that

bro you don't even know how old i am and even if we ignore the joke that caleb made, please tell me the reference that was being made when finn compared a woman to a demogorgon?

Omg he did not compare a woman to a demogorgon. He made a joke about vaginas are weird looking, and I’m sorry if that offends you, but it’s true! Vaginas look weird. Dicks look weird too. It’s really not a big deal. If even Millie herself isn’t making a big deal of it, then why are you?

it's the fact that the joke basically is saying that women's bodies are gross and scary like he could've compared a vagina to literally anything but he didn't he compared it to a demogorgon like jokes that belittle women's bodies aren't funny they're just disrespectful and also no one in that episode made fun of a dick in any way like why are you bringing that up literally not one male was made fun of

Holy run on sentence. I’m bringing it up because guys get made fun of for their dicks all the time. Looks weird, too small, done in 5 minutes, etc. It’s one of the most popular bits for female comedians. I’m really just starting to think that SNL isn’t the show for you. It is my opinion that dicks and vaginas look weird and are kinda gross. Doesn’t mean they’re unnatural or something to be ashamed of. You’ve really got stop taking this so seriously

And in case you missed it, they literally made fun of Finn himself. They made a joke about how he’s unable to grow facial hair. That’s something that is 1) out of his control, and 2) makes a lot of guys self conscious. It’s the same style of joke, yet everyone is okay with it

The reference was that the demo kinda looked like a vagina hope that helps! The Caleb joke was not weird in any way I’m sorry you misunderstood but you misunderstanding something does not make it inherently problematic I am a woman btw
