i think it was just an assumption that since he peed on it = the military knows its safe/what it is = we need to go to the base and figure out what they know about the wall

i could for sure see this! i only ask because ive taken 4 courses at college about scriptwriting and it was really engraved in my brain that characters don’t say things just to say things there’s typically a reason
