Jonathan brought up the ring after they actually ended it😭 that’s why it was “one last confession” bc now that they were done he could bring it up. They talked about how they aren’t actually similar at all, how they were only emotionally tied through shared trauma, how Nancy thrived in the space away from him and that she doesn’t know what she wants and needs to figure it out. I’m not tryna say ur dumb or anything but I just thought it was very obvious idk😭😭😭

yeah idk tbh, maybe i need to watch it again and i’ll have a clearer view. i do think it says something though that SO many people missed it to where they had to confirm it on social media. even people i see on tiktok who analyze the show to death thought the writing was iffy. i thought the unproposal wording could be interpreted a lot of different ways
