I kinda get it though bc Vickie accusing Robin of being on drugs did kinda make me feel like she wasn't the one

yeah but like what was she supposed to think like she got stood up by robin a few times and than robin is like "i was hunting monsters with my friends"...max in season 2 also didn't believe lucas right away

robin also literally stole drugs from the hospital so it was a very very fair assumption

I get why it happened but from a writing perspective, considering that was probably the longest scene ever we saw of them together, it didn't exactly make their relationship look the best. We got so many good scenes of Max and Lucas so they outweighed the bad. I also feel like Robin finding Vickie was portrayed less as her finding the perfect match and more as her just finding another lesbian. So the more I think about it breaking them up was probably the right call sadly.

Also Max not believing Lucas at first actually kinda shows their chemistry because Lucas was always the doubter of the group in season 1
