Then literally writing in a little speech about how she’s been abused her whole life and was able to find a home and family and she deserves to have it all, only to give her an open ending where she’s either A) Dead B) Alone…We gotta Jan 6 Netflix HQ
Having your mc be a young girl who’s been isolated and abused/tortured her whole life, then show her finally be able to to open up, make bonds, and be cared for, only to end your show with her once again being isolated. A bunch of hacks idgaf.

I actually thought it was good for many reasons but to ur point I think it worked well for her character arc because she had been manipulated and bossed around by men her whole life and know she gets to write her own story

Along with the independence and strength she had been gaining throughout the entire series

Shes alone for a little bit, the point is shes going to start her own life away from the place and people that controlled her entire life. So yeah she’ll start off alone but she’ll find people and find peace
