Even Johnathan admits it’s bad timing lol. I do enjoy them, but there’s no way Nancy would say yes and it would feel in character. I think it may be her rejecting him/a potential break up only for them to get back together in a flash forwards at the end

In his defense I’m also still rooting for Steve and Nancy because the only thing Nancy and Jonathon have together is shared trauma Which Steve and Nancy also have but she blames her and her relationship with Steve for barb being taken

Are we forgetting that Jonothan was considering breaking up with Nancy in season 4? He’s only proposing cause he’s threatened by Steve and he thinks it’ll fix their stale relationship.
