execute her. but owens, with his own government ties, shows up with his own squad, and reveals that dr kay has either been a traitor from the jump or has disobeyed orders from the US government in a major way. she refuses to be arrested, pulls a gun on them and is killed after [insert suspenseful gun fight here]. everyone is free

el and mike are still together, but they learn to be less codependent, and follow their own dreams. as he did in the actual finale, mike writes. el begins to volunteer at an animal shelter, and loves it so much that she plans to open her own

fr the 45min epilogue was genuinely crazy when we dont even get to know what happened to kay & co, wills career goals, lucas career goals, max career goals, whatever happened to rovickie and probably more that im forgetting😭

oh and i should mention w the first comment in this thread, the truck scene where theyre leaving the upside down would be much shorter; they wouldnt be celebrating yet because they know what could be waiting for them on the other side of the gate. there would be more tension & they would only celebrate their victory once they were free from kay

im so sorry im not very good at writing like beefy narrative stuff so i cannot provide in that department it would turn out chopped asf i fear☹️ however i will say if anyone seeing this happens to write fic and is inspired by this post they have my full permission to take the concept and run with it!!
