I kinda hate how people say the main kids in Stranger Things are too old to be teens when I don’t even think they look that old and Hollywood has had actors in their 20s even 30s play teens on screen for decades.

like the thing is the characters that they're playing are supposed to be like 16-17 ig and the actors are like around 20 so they do look older but personally i don't think that's a bad thing at all like when the actors where around 10 their characters where also around 10 and they're just growing up with that show so that's completely normal like what do yall expect??

Let’s not forget the “older teens”, Steve, Nancy, Jonathan are way older than their characters

Yeah it’s the annoying memes of how people say they look 40… and they don’t even look that old. Some audiences are probably used to their child appearance from the very first season and theres lots of gaps between the filming each season so it feels like they took forever to release a new season

I think he was 23 at the time of filming. It was never directly stated what grade Clark (his character) was in, but implied he was a freshman
