Like it probably costed zero dollars to say she died from a stressful pregnancy and got force choked. The whole “She lost her will to live.” And “She’s medically healthy.” Lines should just not be there. I know 2005 Star Wars fans were insufferable, but like I’m sure they’re smart enough to understand her dying from being choked and the stressful pregnancy.

Honestly when I first watched the movie when I was 5, I thought that she died from being force choked and wasn’t really paying attention to the dialogue. When I rewatched the entire PT after completing Mandalorian s1 years later, I thought “wait that’s how she died all this time wtf”

Favorite headcanon is that the reason the Jedi wouldn’t have taught each other how to bring someone back from death is that it required someone else to die so Palpatine used Padme’s life to save Anakin on Mustafar 🥲
