that’s why i don’t get too upset when something is released that i don’t like, even the sequels. eventually, probably something else will be written that makes them feel better when you look at the big picture

i don’t like most of clone wars aside from a few arcs, but it’s also super valuable to big picture star wars and the parts that are good are amazing

i also tend to like the “bad” stuff because i see those interesting qualities that bolster other content or add something new and interesting. like i LOVE the exploration of the tuskens in boba fett even if the rest of the show is mid at best

most sw shows start out slow/bad and then end up having some insane episodes or redeeming quality. that’s part of why i’m so sad about acolyte’s cancellation — i like season 1 despite its problems, but i think when given a chance to be completed it could have been something really special and new as well as give us an interesting perspective of the jedi order and high republic
