I feel like some of you guys are not good at reading into plot hints and stories of characters. The Trailer was good, it gave us hints on what the story is and leaves certain scenes up for speculation. Yes they brought back old characters (it’s Star Wars)

I hear you, but I think the worry is that the characters won’t actually develop more and are just there for novelty’s sake. I liked the trailer and hope the movie’s good, but I just don’t think characters like Zeb are there to receive critical development. If that was the plan, Zeb would’ve been in the Ahsoka show helping find Ezra. Only doing “cool stuff” rings hollow after a while

No one got mad when Luke showed up, Ashoka, R2D2. But when small characters from animated shows appears it’s “glup shitto”. Why would you not want to see Zeb develop more? Or even Embo do cool stuff and actually threaten Mando.

Zeb hunting Thrawn and going on a force journey makes no sense to me. Him helping the rebellion hunt warlords does, he’s strong, smart, and can handle himself. I’m not sure what his role is but I do hope it’s a good one. And characters don’t need to develop during the whole time they’re on screen. Zeb had his story in rebels, there’s not need for him to have some dramatic hero story again.

Zeb should want to hunt Thrawn, THE Imperial warlord, because he knows firsthand how dangerous Thrawn is. If Thrawn comes back, the Galactic Civil War will likely reignite. Zeb should absolutely be trying to prevent that, especially if there’s a chance to rescue Ezra as well. There’s no good reason for him to sit this out, given how important the mission is for the galaxy and for him personally

Characters don’t always need to be significantly developing, but they can’t be completely stagnant. Zeb doesn’t need to radically change, but if he doesn’t learn anything, teach Mando and/or Grogu anything, or serve the themes in some other way, then what’s the point of even putting him in a movie? If characters aren’t going to develop, they’re just props
