There isn’t any single one thing that could have saved the sequels. They were that bad.

I actually really liked 7. 8 wasn’t horrible (though it had its issues) but 9 was complete wasted potential of what the other two had been building towards.

They had a ton of chemistry and the actors even were under the assumption they would get together. It would have made complete sense (especially going off of episode 7)
