I use glycolic acid too it’s rlly good for comedonal acne just be careful with what products u use so u don’t over exfoliate (i use the ordinary)

Yess! For example you can’t use retinol the same night you use a chemical exfoliant. Also you should only use it at night. The most important rule ALWAYS use spf or you could just make your skin worse

Don’t use other actives the same day as you use a retinol, use spf every day, only use retinol and chemical exfoliation at night. But also follow a “skin cycling” routine. To support turnover and healing Night 1-chemical exfoliant Night 2-retinol Night 3/4-slug or a thick moisturizer

Plus tret is strong and has its own side effects bc of that (purging, dry skin, sensitivity). Just things to keep in mind when using tret with an exfoliant
