I’ve been fighting my acne since I was 13. I’m 20 now and for the past three months or so my skin has finally been totally clear. Now though when I look close at myself I can see acne, but when I run my hands over it I can’t feel them there. (1/2)

When I take a step back I also can’t make them out. I treat them and the next morning there’s nothing, like not even any residual PIE or anything. Am I just so accustomed to having acne that my head can’t wrap around the idea of it not being there? Has anyone else experienced this?

You might be experiencing temporary body dysmorphia because you were accustomed to having acne and now you don’t. This can be a shocking/jarring change, but you’ll get over it not being there and won’t be so hyper focused on rooting them out
