I may have watched ten million billion hours of Peter Han live streams and learned from him. But in short it takes a lot of focusing on learning how to put shapes in perspective, and then figuring out how to texture or hatch them. As for lettering, I just try a bunch of different lettering styles on a lot of sketchbook pages. Any other questions, and I’ll always be happy to answer!
Yeah stick figures or simple boxes and prisms and stuff. It’s just about trying to break it down for yourself to draw things as shapes, with and without reference. Stick figures I feel are good at capturing motion, and boxes are good for perspective, so learning to use both was helpful. Just getting experience doing it for myself and learning the process in a way that fit my brain was what did it. Still practicing to get even better though!
