2. Comfort Inns and coffee tins, and Denny’s breakfast at 3 a.m., a jukebox half-asleep in the corner, singing to whoever’s still awake.
3. Omex buses, airplane bathrooms, and those weird silver water fountains that always taste faintly of metal and motion.
4. Strange places pass by on road trips— billboards half lit, gas pumps humming, cream soda candles flickering by glove compartments.
5. The world slides past in soft focus, all these in-betweens, these half-forgotten scenes, passing through the twilight zone.
