Omigosh, yes. I’m only moderately short [4’11] but I sadly have interacted with gentlemen that have (verbally + openly) fetishized my height (and voice) explicitly because they found it childlike. Two of those interactions I’ve had at work. At work, I have *actually* been told “you look and sound like a child…don’t worry, it’s hot!”. I feel like it being pushed in art (and sadly especially the anime community) kind of…normalizes this further? Ugh.

Literally. I’m so sick of people saying shit like “Oh, so all short people look like children? Someone can’t just be short without you thinking they look like a kid?” Like NO! They don’t look like a kid, y’all DRAW them like a kid! 😭😭😭
