My advice start with trad or baby bat goth before doing pastel goth! Pastel goth is a lot harder to style unless you’ve had experience in goth fashion. Black is usually a safe choice for outfits.

honestly thrifting and altering will be your best friend, especially since you can make clothes so much cuter + tailored to ur body type this way!! i started experimenting w my style by making simple stuff and then learning how to sew 😸

Gotcha gotcha! Any notes for just pastel without going full goth? I'm between cutesy or full gothy aesthetics (since full goth means I need to be a lot better at makeup-)

As a baby bat it’s completely ok to not have everything figured out! Do you mean pastel aesthetic or pastel goth? The latter is a term coined by tumblr users in the 2000s. It’s kind of hard to pin down what ‘pastel goth’ entails other than it being a mix between cute and creepy and somewhat recently became more associated with e-girl fashion. I can give tips for early pastel goth style if that’s what you’re looking for!

It would just be a pastel aesthetic, since while goth does interest me, so does the exact opposite end of the scale of just... cute
