because microplastics can’t be broken down or digested by your body, they just sit, accumulate and disrupt bodily functions. they’re toxic for your system bc they contain chemicals and are generally just ICKY. unnatural

So they break down into particles too small to dispose of completely. Which means they end up in our water and food supplies.
Japanese scientists actually found evidence of microplastics in clouds.
How much cancer they cause, I do not know and won’t pretend to know.
