Well of course. I’m pretty weary of what I say or do though, especially since I have experience with rude friends in the past or ones that lack common courtesy sense. So I doubt it’s that. Sometimes I think I just need to find more spaces with ppl like me.

I go to a predominantly white institution, which ofc isn’t an issue to me at all. Everyone’s super nice but I found that those who do tend to stick around me here are also black.

Yes, but sometimes it's not just courtesy, it could also be that the other person just felt your personalities didn't click. It doesn't always mean you necessarily did something wrong
