Something about devoting a significant portion of your life to research that leaves you with some quirks/mannerisms. And some cool stories frankly. Especially for the anthropologists and plant scientists.

my prof came into our final and spent the first 15 min telling us about a nightmare he had that his alarm went off late and he almost missed the exam… then spent the next 15 telling us he fell off his bike the day prior and broke 3 ribs got a 94 on the final tho 🙌
