She’s from my town. And I’ve been away a long time. Her whole vibe is something magical that people have back there and I can’t wait to one day return to more permanently. Everytime I visit home, right as I get off the plane, people just start talking to me like we are related. Back yard barbecues in the neighborhood. Muscle cars showing off downtown. Dance parties in living rooms. 82 degrees outside on summer nights. Alysa’s vibe brings all that back to me. There’s no place like home.
