Well me personally I always thought that getting it trimmed every so often was counterproductive so I never did that, but ever since I listened to my stylist and started getting trims every 8 weeks, like a literal dusting, my hair has grown a tonnn and feels so nice at the ends like itโ€™s so healthy. No split/dead ends. When I just let it grow and never got trims, I had to get 7 inches chopped off of my hair at once when I finally went back because the dead ends were so bad and it was just awful

In addition to that though I also use good hair products that have really helped. K18, Kerastase, pureology, olaplex, and milk shake are some that are a part of my hair wash/everyday routine. Also 10/10 recommend a satin/silk pillowcase, I use the ones by kitsch :) for tanning, I like to wear black bikinis since black attracts the sun, especially the first few times I lay out because it really gives me a nice base tan. I use Hawaiian tropic silk hydration lotion spf 30,

Eltamd spf for my face (I have sensitive skin), Maui babe browning lotion before I tan, if Iโ€™m at the beach Iโ€™ll go in the ocean a few times and splash myself because salt water accelerates. After I shower I will spot treat with aloe Vera if I need to, then I mix one of my every day lotions (ie B&BW sweetest song) with the Maui babe after browning lotion and apply it all over my body. Moisturizing after is so so important!!!
