I know a man who batted above his average. He knows it and he’s insecure af. He’s cheated, bathes in cologne, wears his hair like 3-4 inches high, is paranoid of being cheated on, and is in general one of the most annoying people I’ve ever met. Get with someone you genuinely like as a person and are attracted to, it’ll go better. You being attracted to them doesn’t mean they need to be Hollywood standard, just your type.

Oh, that’s insane. Yeah with my post what I was really trying to say is I really don’t care about looks it’s more about if they treat me right. That man is messed up.

Oh that I get because I like personality and develop the interpersonal chemistry before I start getting attracted to someone but even if they’re not “conventionally” attractive according to whatever arbitrary metric I always make my partner feel attractive. Because, to me they are. I’ve been told by people this is a bad idea because they’ll break up with me for someone else. Like ok if they do, that’s a them issue. I feel like it’s lowkey abusive to not make your partner feel hot though.
