If using an applicator put it in until you’re holding the base with two fingers almost flush with your skin, then push the thingy and about halfway start pulling it out

i personally put the wider part of the applicator about halfway inside before i start pushing the thing that puts it in, but put it in carefully bc the plastic parts of the applicator can catch skin down there if ur not🥀
