I notice our generation does this a lot when people have a a genuine curiosity and then it tends to push those people to more hateful proclivities

people (me included) feel her poetry is just contemporary wordslop meant to sound pretty but lacking the structure and artistry required of true poets to do their craft well. it reads like a tiktok caption of someone who does not engage in truly critical thinking and analysis trying to be deep and existential. her work’s not worth the hype. people tend to treat her poetry like it’s picasso-level mastery when she’s a 6th grader selling notebook-margin doodles in the hall at best

it’s easy to be a really good artist in 6th grade ‘cause everyone’s 12 years old. you can’t claim you got into art school and a BFA with your 6th grade level skills though, which is the vibe she gives. “im so deep and introspective” when she’s simply not, save for a few decently worded pieces. it’s all quickly consumable-and-profitable content for the average chatgpt user. a prostitution of poetry, essentially
