Right but this post and the number of likes on this post is exactly part of the problem. This whole "immigrants get it done" thing is another sectionist ideology and nothing else, not to mention it's treating Mamdani as if he represents the immigrant community by any stretch of the imagination. The obsession with "this person is this gender, race, religion, etc. that is not proportionally represented so I will support them solely that basis" is extremely dangerous and counterproductive.

If they're good at something, they should be allowed to do it! On so many different accounts, Mamdani is the opposite of qualified for this job

Yep. Same with Harris. I live in DC and all the talk around me was "omg finallyyyy we need to get a woman into the office". Trust, I would LOVE a powerful woman in the office (a little more than I should, go be frank). But that doesn't mean we pick the next woman we see 😭 (I'm not making an argument for Trump here btw)

Dude, you said you agreed with Trump's ideologies more than Kamala's, how the hell is that possible? Speaking strictly from an economical standpoint his plan for tariffs was broken and wasnt going to work from the beginning. The way tariffs work is by putting an economic load on consumers. Then he implemented it in real life and did hella illegal shit like insider trading (bad for consumers as well 💀). Kamala's plan involved NONE of that and she 100% would not have done the illegal shit he did.
