Literally hate men when I was little in gymnastics I had a male coach get on top of me and hold me down and be rly creepy once my mom went to the bathroom they absolutely should not be there… 🙁

I personally don’t have any issue with male gynos. Although I am aware of the backlash Nick Baumel is facing, due to some insensitive “humor” regarding women’s health/gynecology-a big concern for many of us and male gynos. While I (again) personally don’t have a problem with seeing a Male DR, others might and that’s okay. It’s just that I’ve never understood the want as a grown man to be around little girls in leotards all day

That logic is the same as why would a man want to be around vaginas all day lol. I can see the disdain for both professions, but that line of thinking makes it seem like men are inherently predators thinking bout it like ooo yea 13 year olds in leggings. Predators are the problem, not particularly men. Some people just genuinely love the sport and teaching it .

I see it as a little different when practicing medicine, just because they’re physicians-all doing the job of saving & curing lives. Not hanging around little girls all day. That’s just my opinion though and I doubt it’ll change, thank you for sharing

I agree man- peace and love the amount of breast cancer survivors I’ve met who’ve had a dude tell them they’re so young and they shouldn’t cut their “perky” or “young” or other gross ass adjective bc ig dying from cancer is less important than a future husband
