you can do that without harming innocent people… law enforcement exists. if you believe that every undocumented immigrant is a violent criminal then you have some extreme prejudice & it’s not my responsibility to sort them out for you.

I never said all of them were like that. I also believe that if people would stay out of the way innocent people wouldn’t be hurt. Obama and Biden both deported tons of illegals it’s only when trump does it that it’s bad. For me get the hard core criminals out of here. Then for the people actually being productive to society help them figure out how to get citizenship

You do realize Obamas ice killed more people right? Yes I’m not saying targeting citizens should be ok it shouldn’t. 2 things can be true at the same time people need to get out of the way and let ice do their jobs. Making things so much harder for no reason. Hard core criminals should be deported. People actually useful to society should have a way to gain citizenship. I think we can both agree there.

many disagree with Biden's & especially Obama's policies on border control. additionally, Trump's ICE has a completely different methodology, which is why people are protesting it. they've had countless incidents of violence against legal residents and even born-in citizens. they're designed to create disorder, and are primarily targeting blue states. and l agree that hardcore criminals deserve justice, but targeting innocents isn't the way

many people protesting now were minors during Obama’s term, and many have openly stated they would protest against Obama if they were around then. also, the frustration over immigration policies has been building up for years. Trump’s blatant dehumanization and mistreatment of both citizen and non-citizen was the last straw for many. hes also targeting people who’ve been here for years & are deeply rooted in their communities (rather than Obama who went mostly for new arrivals).

more people know someone who’s been taken by ICE than ever before, so more people have a personal stake in fighting against the policy that’s taking their neighbors away. also ofc, I’m glad to discuss this

Yeah I’m not saying it’s a perfect world or perfect system. The hard criminals should be deported asap. I think if people protesting would just get the fuck out of the way then nothing would happen. For example. Pretty was literally blocking them from taking somebody. Now HE DID NOT DESERVE TO DIE AND SHOULD NOT HAVE DIED. I want to be very clear on that. At the same time if he isn’t in the way he’s never hurt. 2 things can be true at the same time.

End of the day this is where I think we can agree. 1. People shouldn’t be getting hurt. 2. Criminals should not be here. 3. There are better ways to do this but still be productive. I think we can agree on those.

No he was trying to prevent them from taking her. He also spit at an ice agent and kicked their headlight the week before so he wasn’t peaceful in anyway at any point
