Ai was used to accelerate cancer research and other medical research by years. It's used to analyse data to match patients with the correct treatments used in life-saving medical care. Are you referring to this or just some generative AI nonsense?

Gen AI is not the same as that and we should stop conflating them. Its funny to call it nonsense when its polluting the Earth, exploiting natural resources, stealing jobs, destroying the arts and humanities

Exactly it’s not the same . Thats what I said originally but I’m saying the amount of useful applications outweighs the environmental impact . Every industry exploits natural resources but not all of them are being used to progress humanity. I guarantee A-lot of people who likes the post only have knowledge or gen Ai being used.

So you disagree that cancer research and how it’s accelerating humanity is worth it? Because of the environment? If thats your stance then boycott china and get everyone else to do the same they produce roughly 1/3 of all world pollution and have factories used to create the most useless trinkets. And account for millions of death because of their pollution.
