Just broke up with my bf bc he wanted me to birth his children at 23. Mind you I’m in grad school, working on publishing a novel, actively training as an athlete for enjoyment. He wanted me to give all that up for his mid genes 🤢

Me literally do this when you’re more successful than them. Never fails.

Yet nothing you create in this world will ever surpass the complexity and raw potential of a child. Not your novel, not your career, not your sports, not some grad degree. The only W here is that you told your BF no to a request to bring a child into this world outside of marriage. But you clearly don't have a future with him - you value him less than athletics for your enjoyment - so let him go find the love of his life.

Literary fiction about siblings. Main idea of the story is “everyone has their own life, specifically their own struggles” idk I wanted to write a book where everyone is the main character. Also outlining one where the main character is the side character in the real world story, think like The Secret History if you’re familiar with that plot. How no one gaf about Richard but he’s the technical main character

Work in progress lol. Still brainstorming until I find something that “feels” right
