Judging as laws are passed based on our own moral and ethical standards and values, they’re put in place for a reason. R*pe to not take advantage of or overpower people, DV to not harm people, drunk driving to not k*ll yourself and others, theft to not steal what doesn’t belong to you, the list goes on and on. If you have no morals just say that, #1, but laws matter to a lot of people.

I never said that morals don’t matter, they do. I said it more that ppl don’t care about the law as long as it agrees with what they want. Someone could be a murderer but if they align with you, some ppl will overlook what they done

Like, if for the next election, someone ran on positive things (legal abortion, rights of all kinds etc etc) but was a felon, a lot of ppl would still vote for them because their ideas align with them
