Would it be wrong of me to say this is how most of Gen-X was raised because their parents didn’t care about them….they’re called the latchkey generation for a reason and they’re nightmarish for a reason

I would argue they were put down more than kids now are. Not in a way of saying that was good (beatings and punishment) but I think they actually faced consequences which parents nowadays act like their child is free from consequences so when they do get reprimanded they can’t handle it.
