trying to train from close to zero->half marathon by november, any tips for how to escalate distance?

you have plenty of time. don’t increase mileage too quickly. esp bc u have a lot of time even if u only go up 1/2mi from the previous week that’s fine. have a deload week mid septemberish- not no running just sort of decrease mileage and focus on recovery

also this is personal preference but maybe try running for time instead of distance. especially in the summer time spent on feet is more important than the actual distance ran
