Yeah you need to sit them down and tell them that when you said you don’t care what they do you meant as long as it didn’t effect like having to lose sleep every night to let her in. Their options at this point are to take their key with them, come back at an earlier time if they want you to let them in (say midnight), or stay with a friend when they’re late coming back.

In a similar strain tell them that their lack of cleaning negatively affects your health so at bare minimum they need to start picking up after themselves and not leave biohazards anywhere.
