it depends. if it's a situation where y'all share a room then yeah i'd be pissed. if yall have an apartment and they are in the shared space it's also rude to not let you know but if they are in her bedroom you can't really be all upset.

Mine does it 24/7 and never tells me and it drives me crazy. She also has her friends over 24/7 and it also drives me crazy. And she wonders why I stay in my room

It depends. Are we sharing a room or we have our own rooms and own bathrooms?

i mean yeah you can be upset but you can't really get mad at them if they are just in their room. a heads up is polite but if yall are equal renters nobody really has power over what or who you do in the confines of your own room

i’m not saying you have power over it, but it’s a SHARED space. this person will have to be in the bathroom at times and will be walking around the house. these are shared spaces where you might just be at any given time. you’re a pos if you don’t tell your roommate when you’re having someone a random person stay over.

Is it specifically because they were guys? Maybe if there’s extra anxiety around having gentlemen in the house in particular, explaining that could be a helpful idea. Unless you already communicate that, ofc. 🥲

that depends on the place. in the apartments i'm in i had my own bathroom. and if they are just hanging out their their own room it really shouldn't be a big deal. it's a lil impolite not to give a heads up that their coming but if you're mad they had someone in their own room and stay in their own room then that may be on you.
