I live with 4 other girls and this one girl is always late on rent and bills, and she smokes weed in her room every single day. We’ve asked her to stop and take it outside so many times and she just ignores us. We don’t want to report her. what do we do?

as someone who smokes everyday, report her lol. it’s not cool to do it while crossing boundaries of those u live with. i’d say one more warning nd then pull the trigger. i knew my roommate for 2 years and the first day i got my stuff in i still asked if she was okay with me hitting my shit inside our home 🤷🏻‍♀️

That’s a good perspective. We don’t care if she smokes, but I get migraines, the smell is getting in the carpets, and more issues with it. She’s just being inconsiderate atp. She cites “medical reasons” which may be true but the other thing is if she gets kicked out we have to cover her part of the rent and bills

everything you mentioned in the first half, I dealt with a roommate in my last living situation, and me and my homie had nooo issue just stepping outside to the deck. it’s the simple thing to do if not everyone is okay with it. The money part is awkward, but unfortunately that’s the other part of being an adult she’s forgetting lol. Just say it straight “either compromise and pay up or you can start lighting up under the street lamp”. Make it known that everyone, AND her will be fucked.
