This entire thing happened months ago. Few weeks ago I asked if I could share the apartment with her, she agreed and she seemed excited for me to move in. We were fine we were still friends, then I start talking to this girl and she sleeps over one night, and my roommate goes upto her and tells her this entire story and said how I SA-ed her. Now this girl wants to breakup with me for the allegations but I don't understand why would you room with me if you thought I SA-ed you.
To mention some details, She came to jokingly hit me with a scissor and then somehow ended up sitting on my lap, then I told her let's watch a movie, then she got up again turned the tv on and sat on my lap again her self. Then we watched the movie and she started falling asleep on me. I brushed her hair for sometime and she fell asleep, then I carried her to her room, put her on bed and left. Now she claims I SA-ed her. But her is the part that doesn't sit right with me.
Did you tell her not to sit on your lap after the first time cause if so then it sounds like she may actually be the one who has no idea about consent or boundaries. I totally understand your gfs side of the story as she is very conflicted, the pain of not being believed by those close to you kills and she is probably trying to avoid making that girl feel this way. I may be coming out of left field but I think she may be upset you didn’t accept her advances or she was so drunk she believes 1/2
Something happened that she can’t remember. I think you should try explaining to your girlfriend what happened with the hair brushing and lap sitting if you haven’t and explain why you understand and feel strongly about consent and if she doesn’t believe you after that or talk to her friend more than it may just be something to end for the both of your sake. I’m sorry you’re going through this, false allegations ruin lives and I hope you can overcome this. All the best.
