I live in Texas and we keep the temp at 75/76, there’s a big difference between that and 78/79 so I get it

My roommate literally turns the AC off completely and will let it get above 80. I’ve come in to 83 before. My cat has asthma and other respiratory issues, which she is aware of, and I have a note from his vet saying the temperature cannot be above 74. These ppl are literally just inconsiderate and awful.

It literally says it’s on OFF ….. so no one set it to that temperature that’s js the regular temp from the weather it’s not on cool or hot u js want attention

The size of the place matters too, 75 in a smaller place is hell but 75 in a larger place is perfectly fine

The person that I’m complaining about turned it to off to save money on the electricity bill because he has no concern for anyone else. I didn’t realize it was off when I posted this but my point still stands. And also if any one else turns it on or puts the temperature down he immediately goes back and changes it as soon as that persons not in the room anymore

That’s exactly what this fucking guys does as if it’s not summer in FL, he’s the landlord technically so he doesn’t even fucking pay anything and he relies on me and my other two roommates financially, we all pay utilities which we were told was included in our rent before we found out it wasn’t, and even though we pay for it he gets mad when we actually use it???

This same roommate runs a space heater in her room year round and refused to pay electricity for two months to the point I had to switch the electricity into the name of the complex I live at. Thankful that’s an option. I hope you and your roommates can make it out and have the air BLASTING
