Is it high maintenance? Then tell them no it’s too much work and stand on that 😤. If it’s not high maintenance and u just have to feed it then grow tf up and help out ur roommate 😭.

Nah if u always need someone to watch ur pet u need to figure it tf out. That’s why I’m not getting a pet rn to busy and it’s unfair to ask roommates without pets to handle your responsibilities.

Exactly. My mom goes out of town for half the month and pays me to take care of the dogs, bc it wasn’t my choice to get the dogs or be alone with them. I would do it for free but it’s important to recognize that it’s definitely an anchoring job like you have to be home to feed them and let them out
