So people who have roomed with a friend or at least a person that you know and like did it really suck living with them. I have a friend moving in and I’m a bit nervous but exited.

As long as you know how they handle chores and being an adult. I roomed with friends who don't know how to boil water and wash a fork half the time. They majorly live at the dorm and have less than 12 hours weekly dedicated to outside the dorms (classes).

You can always prevent things from not sucking by expressing boundaries the first time. Have a discussion in the beginning of what yall want living together would look like. Me and my friend who I thought would fall out are still living together peacefully because we had the same understanding. Also do NOT be afraid to say something about ehat they're doing. I feel like people try to tolerate things from friends that they wouldn't tolerate from others and then it builds into resentment the-

I’m the person who put up the post. All of these replies make me nervous about rooming with my friend. Idk what to say. I’m trying to stay optimistic
