don't you just love when you apartment building randomly gives you 2 new roommates without any notice🤩 (before i lived alone in a 3bed/bath off campus student housing apt). if i didn't have a ring camera, i wouldn't have even seen them move in smh

I would file a complaint about that if only so they can’t do that to someone else. Like you said, if you didn’t have a ring camera you wouldn’t have known and that would’ve been a very different experience

My damn apartment did the same thing! I literally came back from class to another person just standing in the middle of the living room freaked the hell outta me and none of my other roommates knew about it either! To make matters worse my old apartment HAD been broken into and robbed before we got the new roommate.

i mean yeah, i figured they'd fill the unit, but it just would have been nice to have a heads up that random people were coming into my place. i'm still at my parents house for winter break, so it would be really weird to come back home and see new people in my apartment without any warning. And no, i'm just paying for my room

My old apartment also has routine ‘inspections’ they used to just inspect the living room and kitchen never the bedrooms. Well surprise, they randomly decided to do this and they only knocked once on my roommates door announcing themselves then opened the door on her changing. Then I was in the shower at the time and my bathroom door was open but if you opened my bedroom door you would be able to see me straight in the shower, I only had a shower liner at that time bc my curtain ripped so I had

To take it down and they knocked once and I heard it I yelled I was in the shower and then boom they unlocked my bedroom door with a key! I can’t tell you how offended and disturbed I was! My roommate was pissed as much as I was! I literally had my bedroom door locked and they had a key to unlock it
