The fact that my dad has to ask me “what is that noise” when we are in ft and it’s my roommates screaming from the living room should say a lot

imo i fear you just need to have a convo with them, i’m loud with my friends sometimes and my roommate was getting passive aggressive. so i said hey is this bothering you let’s talk, we talked abt boundaries and when i can have ppl over. if u don’t talk to them they might just keep doing it not knowing it upsets u thats what i went thru. i wouldn’t jump to being mad bc they’re probably just having fun at college and are unaware

See the problem is I’ve talked to them multiples times, in person and text reminders. Me and my other roommate tried to set a boundary of not having people after past 12 on weeknights but they straight up didn’t listen

yeah that’s crossing a line then they seem like an asshole, have u contacted the ra? idk if they’d get mad at u for reporting it but then you’d at least have documentation that you set a boundary and they’re violating it

idk if they’d get kicked out but maybe, u could say it’s interrupting ur studies / sleep or make a noise complaint
