Guys what would you do if you have confronted your neighbor ( lives next to you) about being loud past quite hours and hears her talking shit about you and your friend cuz shes so loud thru the walls. And now theyre messing with me by constantly knocking.

File noise complaints, get a ring camera, file harassment charges once you get footage of them constantly knocking on your door. She had a chance to go the civil route now she has to deal with the legal consequences of her actions.

So i live in a dorm, and we all have oir own room and were not allowed to have a ring camera cuz “it violates privacy (housing) ”. So thats the tricky part. But ill def look into more on the legal part and make a complaint to housing

you could probably record the knocking from your own room whenever she starts just in case you ever need that

Maybe housing has their own cameras in the hallway. If not, if she’s doing this around a specific time every day you can wait by your door until you hear the knocking and quickly open to catch her in the act. It’s always helpful in cases like this to be able to prove it’s the person.

just let your RA know. filing legal charges is expensive and difficult and time consuming and it’s unlikely you can put up a ring camera in a dorm (?????). just tell your RA your university has protocols for how to deal with stuff like that

I initially brought up legal charges thinking this was an apartment. Absolutely needs to go to the RA if available but it’s always helpful in retaliation situations like this if you have proof that it’s the person. It keeps it from being a he said she said thing.
