why is my roommate determined to keep our window open when it’s 40 degrees out, and be confused when I close it? ITS 40 DEGREES OUT!!!

I had a teacher in highschool who was an insane germaphobe, he kept all windows open all year long even if it was snowing or raining outside…

That reminds me of my roommates it would be 15° out and they would open windows and blast the AC

i had a roommate like this and i was so cold to the point where i couldn’t do homework bc my hands were so stiff and i also have a ton of plants and a snail as well, so if anything definitely don’t want my babies to be that cold and she refused to close the window even after a conversation. it was dropping below freezing AND she had her fan on blast. like wtf 😭 if u run THAT warm then live by yourself.

I have a chronic illness & part of it is my body struggles to regulate temperature so i need to keep a window open (out heater is also broken and makes the room 90 degrees so i keep it open to keep it off) but if i notice it gets too cold i do close it

maybe because you can always put more blankets on but if you run hot it’s not easy to cool down??

I have talked to him and tried to say it’s okay when it’s the day time but when it’s at night and it feels like 30, it is way too cold for allat

if the window is open and it’s freezing outside, then the draft will also be freezing cold air. so just have the fan on or something if you want airflow ? open the window when it’s not winter weather

Just because you are cold and miserable all the time doesn’t mean that any of us who actually choose to live somewhere nice should also have to suffer. Your attempts to glorify your own suffering and protect it onto others is pathetic. Stfu
