I experienced this and I genuinely started going back to church because of how awful it was

hey! i have only white roommates, and my suggestion is making sure if you’re having any issues, let your friends know and keep your location on. build community and make sure you aren’t alone IF you get this feeling from them, but also don’t cause yourself anxiety! what they did to nolan wells is pure evil, don’t live in fear if no signs have been shown

as a black girl transferring to a pwi also living in the south i’m nervous for you. when y’all first meet please be on high alert and use your discernment to really get a feel on what type of people are about to be living with you. are y’all in separate or shared rooms? i really hope you get at LEAST one safe roommate 🥲

Wouldn’t stress it. If one seems racist just ignore that one entirely unless they spark up a convo

you guys are too comfortable being around racist white people. if they can be prejudiced against you they can kill you. remove yourself entirely from the situation. (this applies to white ppl that give a racist vibe not all. but if you feel discriminated against you shouldnt ignore it)

i agree but had to add a little on to this for op. nolan had no signs and thought of these people as friends. #4 is completely right about sharing with someone any problems happening but also make sure to tell either a ra or parent also! don’t live in fear but trust your gut! one wrong feeling immediately be on alert.
