If you’re the non confrontational type you could try buying her a seasonal one and ask her to try it to see if she likes it

I think the easiest way to say it would be that you are sensitive to strong smells and that it would help if she could cover up her scent somehow, honestly idk bit I have a friend like this who does wear deodorant but has a medical condition I think so it wears off quickly
