im allergic to eucalyptus and my roommates won’t stop using it. they cleaned the whole fucking house with it. its in the soaps, their body washes, and candles. ive been breaking out in hives and feeling like shit for 2 weeks :(

Yeah you can request to break the lease because of that. Big health and safety issue. Might be some legal charges they can get too. Basically you do have options to get away from this person and/or give them consequences for ignoring a fairly serious allergy

For my campus it was never the candle itself but the lighters were banned. Of course now candle warmers exist so no flame needed
